Matteo's passion for authentic taste extends beyond the music world and into the kitchen, setting higher standards for emerging chefs worldwide. He draws inspiration from the world around him, including art, music, slow food, and, most of all, curiosity.
At the young age of 23, he opened his first restaurant in Buenos Aires. After a few years, he began working in fine dining restaurants in Italy, learning how to manage Michelin-starred kitchens. In 2020, he opened Wayku Restaurant in Miami, Florida, and in 2021, he became the Food & Beverage Manager of Eataly, first relaunching the Bologna store and then Munich, Germany in 2022.
Currently, Matteo is opening a new restaurant in Milan and working as a consultant in Munich, Madrid & Milan.
Over the years, he has developed unbreakable ties with his suppliers, who share his values and help him in his mission as a chef.
Matteo's purpose is to provide powerful but simple dishes with a signature twist, using the best techniques and ingredients available worldwide.
